It's a Gift The Ultimate Life It's All For You

Last night at our family dinner I told this story to my kids. Before, I directly tell them what to do and now I change strategy. I learned that telling stories has a great impact to the kids and for the adults also. So, this story is for adults also.

Happy reading and learning!

Once upon a time there was an engineer. Let's call him Peter. He was employed to a top construction company in the country. He was doing great that the owner of the company was so happy having Peter worked with them. Many great things had happened. Peter was the number 1 employee that made him so close to the owner.

To cut the story short, I know some of you knows this story already. Peter now is a retirable. He went to the owner and tell him his intention to retire. The owner being so close to Peter understands and approves his retirement in one condition. And what was that? Peter needs to build one more house. Peter will design it according to his heart's desire and build it strong and beautifully. So, the agreement was signed by the owner and Peter.

Peter was so excited for his retirement. He wants to make it as soon as possible. So, what he did, he made the design fast and ordered the construction of the house very quick. The result, the design was not good, the construction materials were sub-standard. The house was not built beautifully strong.

The owner was so amazed with the fast completion of the house. The owner then said to Peter, well done Peter! Congratulations you're now retired. Before you will go, said the owner, receive this key, from this day onwards the house that you just built, the house that you designed is now yours.

Peter was not happy knowing the house was not built strong and beautifully. Peter knows the house will not survive in the next couple of years. If he only knew, he would have built it the way his dream house would look like.

Our kids was listening attentively. I told them, the same with your schooling, the same with your violin class, the same when you perform anything like dance, piano, guitar, ballet or whatever. Those are not for us your parents, those are all for you.

So, make it, do it with the best that you can. In the end it's all for you.

With love,

Papa Jesse
